The next meeting of the NYC Media Seminar will take place on Wednesday, November 11.  Seth Stephens-Davidowitz (Google)  will present “New Data and Media Economics.”  Looking ahead, on Wednesday, December 2, Matthew Baker (Hunter College) and I will present “The News Hour: Welfare Estimation in Local Television News.”

The seminar meets the first Wednesday each month from 10:00-12:00 in room #1502 of the Associated Press headquarters at 450 W. 33rd St., New York City.  To speed check in at AP headquarters, it is helpful to RSVP to [log in to unmask] or [log in to unmask] with your name and affiliation.  Please do not respond to the LISTSERV.  Also let us know if you are interested in joining for lunch.
