The Weill Cornell Medical College will conduct its Annual Regional Pre-medical Conference on Saturday, December 12, 2015. The goals of the program are to expose high school and undergraduate college students to the vast opportunities for careers in  medicine, while also educating them about health-care issues disproportionately affecting minority populations and the importance of diversity in medicine and health care delivery in general.

Conference Objectives Include:

Addressing healthcare issues affecting the Black and Latino communities; Workshops on preparing for a career in the health professions; networking opportunities with medical students, physicians, and administrators of color.

The program is from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Weill Cornell Medical College, Uris Auditorium, 1300 York Avenue (at 69th Street in Manhattan)

Continental breakfast and lunch will be served.
