MCAT Immersion Program

The QU MCAT Immersion program is designed to increase the number of underrepresented students in medicine scoring competitively on the MCAT and being accepted into medical school programs.

Requirements:
The applicant must be a college junior, senior or postgraduate who has completed all prerequisite science courses (biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and statistics/math) with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and is a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Each student must have her/his own laptop computer.

There is no cost to participate. Financial support, along with a travel and housing allowance, will be provided.

Application Process:

·         Complete the online application

·         Write 500-word essay, typed and double-spaced, on the topic: Why should you be chosen for the MCAT Immersion program?

·         Submit a recommendation letter, written and mailed by a science faculty member or an employer for those who are no longer enrolled.

·         Submit all official transcript(s), mailed directly from the institution.
