Topics will include how to find and apply for positions, how to find a good PI, what it takes to get your name on a paper, what's important when applying to schools, and much more!

First Annual Bioethics Debate

Description:

The cloning of human stem cells; a new prenatal diagnostic method; the safety of genetically modified foods, these are just a few of the topics which are all a part of the Bioethics debate.

Join the Hunter College Society for Bioethics and Medicine for their first annual bioethics debate! You will hear the viewpoints of patients, family members, doctors, researchers, animal activists, and others in certain controversial situations in medicine and research. This will be a great opportunity actively think about ethical issues in medicine and research.
