How-To Guide: Nudges

Feeding America has been working with Cornell University on evidence-based nutrition education strategies to help increase the consumption of healthy foods by those served by food banks. Small environmental cues or changes in one's environment, known as "Nudges", can make an impact on food choices and ultimately health.  This free online toolkit provides ways to create a strategy that fits a food bank or pantry's needs to help make the healthy choice the easy choice. Learn more on the Feeding America web site.

Academy DPG Experts Needed

The Academy is considering commenting on a number of proposed regulations, regulatory guidance and information/data collections in the next two months. If you are interested in contributing to the Academy's responses to these regulatory initiatives, please email Courtney Puidk ([log in to unmask]) or Paula Martin ([log in to unmask]) to submit your feedback, which will be edited into input from HEN as DPG.  Many of these information collections are seeking strategies for improving research and program structure on the listed topics.

To read more about the proposed rules, click on the links below. The dates noted are the deadline for DPGs to submit input to the Academy's Regulatory Affairs department:
