Dietitians on Demand Corporate Solutions, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a contract assignment at an Acute Care Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This position needs 24 hours per week of coverage with weekday hours. This contract pays $41.28 hourly and includes direct deposit.  This opportunity would start As Soon As Possible and last a minimum of 30 days. (renewable)   

 

Responsibilities:

 

Perform nutrition assessments and follow-up assessments for patients in units as assigned

Identify and monitor patients at nutritional risk by providing a variety of nutritional therapy interventions

Participate in interdisciplinary clinical meetings as needed

Work independently with minimal supervision and training

 

Requirements:

 

Candidates must be Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Ability to be flexible, organized, and function effectively in stressful situations

Strong oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of parenteral and enteral nutrition methods

Experience with electronic charting and the Nutrition Care Process preferred

     (Healthbridge/Eclypsis preferred)

At least one year of experience in an Acute Care setting
