Job Description for an Undergraduate Nutrition Student

Mandolean Weight loss and eating disorder center is seeking an undergraduate volunteer. This opportunity is located in a private facility on the Upper East side of Manhattan. We use an innovative treatment
from Mandometer and Mandolean clinics founded in Stockholm Sweden in 1993 for eating disorders and obesity. The main focus of the practice is currently obesity. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how to best treat moderate to severely overweight
patients. The behavioral component of the treatment program along with the use of the mandometer, a computerized scale, that tracks each patient’s eating rate together results in both a physiological change and a behavioral change which leads to long term
weight control. This program has statistics that reveal a 75% success rate at 5 year follow ups.
