The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has begun planning for Healthy People 2030, scheduled for release in 2020. The Healthy People initiative establishes disease prevention and health promotion objectives for the Nation.

The Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (ODPHP) is seeking nominations for members of the Secretary’s Advisory Committee on National Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives for 2030. Nominations will be accepted until 6 p.m. ET on Monday, April 18, 2016. See the Federal Register notice for more information on the nomination process.
