By Jennifer Furman The Food and Research Action Committee released its annual report1 on February 16th, 2016 comparing school breakfast participation in 73 districts across the country for the 2014-15 school year. New York City ranked last, with the lowest breakfast participation rate among low-income children of any major US city. NYC has consistently ranked as one of the lowest performing school districts in FRAC’s reports.
