Food Benefits and Immigrants Research Associate

The newly formed CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute seeks a PT research associate to assist in a collaborative project to study the barriers to food benefits that immigrants in New York City face and to engage immigrant serving organizations in defining a policy agenda to improve access and reduce food insecurity among immigrants living in New York City.  Previous experience in studying or working in immigrant communities, antihunger or food security organizations and/or policy advocacy highly desirable. Good organizational, writing and analytic skills required. Graduate training in relevant field desirable.  PT at 14-19 hours per week starting in April.
