If you have not registered with us yet or your registration is still in process, we will add the time to your volunteer connections once you've been cleared. We had to split the events we have available between this email an the next email (which will be sent in two weeks) because those events will be led by our Head Volunteers As we've mentioned Disaster Services encompasses multiple sub-departments (Response, Communications, Mental Health, Logistics, Mass Care, International Relations) with over 90% of the workforce driven by volunteers! Being that this was a collaboration event with the Pre-Health department, the events have been categorized below in what we believe may be more of use to you. We still encourage you to experience and participate in as many Red Cross events as possible! Volunteering helps in personal growth and the benefit of the community we live in! All Pre-Health students will benefit from Response training. You may register for these shifts (8 hour shifts) on Volunteer Connections directly once your registration and background check have been completed. Available Red Cross events for the month will be under the "Calendar" of your Home page on Volunteer Connections.
