Join the Food Policy and Obesity Prevention Student Group as we host an amazing group of speakers for a panel discussion exploring issues of food injustice and insecurity, and to discuss steps towards addressing disparities in health outcomes due to food inequity. Panelists incluce Lorrie Clevenger of Rise and Root Farm, Ray Figueroa of Friends of Brook Park, Claire Uno of the Tisch Center for Food, Education and Policy, Dr. Kimberly Libman from the New York Academy of Medicine and Catarina Rivera of City Harvest. The panel will be moderated by Craig Willingham who specializes in programs related to food sovereignty and food security.

The panel will be held in the Allan Rosenfield Building's 8th Floor Auditorium from 5:30 to 6:45 with a reception to follow upstairs in Hess Commons. Dinner will be served before the panel and light refreshments and desserts will be available at the reception. This event is open to the public so please bring friends or colleagues that would be interested.
