Objectives:

Identify the effects of increased dietary protein to improve appetite control, weight management, fitness/performance, and other health outcomes--discussing meal-specific quantities to maximize these effects.

Understand the significance of protein distribution (i.e., timing of consumption), particularly at breakfast.

Translate protein research into practical dietary guidance regarding ‘how much’, ‘what type’, and ‘when’ to consume protein-rich foods within the diet.
