2016 NWA Nutrition Education and Breastfeeding Conference Call for Presentation and Poster Abstracts - DEADLINE Tuesday, June 28, 2016



The NWA 2016 Nutrition Education and Breastfeeding Conference Planning Committee Co-chairs are calling for presentation and poster abstracts until COB Tuesday, June 28th. We plan to begin contacting selected presenters during the week of July 18th. If your presentation was not selected, we hope you will consider creating a poster around your topic.


Presentation Abstract Submission

The committee is looking for creative, innovative, cutting edge and thought provoking presentations that will thoroughly engage the attendees. Your objectives will need to be action-based and highlight achievable outcomes. The concurrent sessions will vary from 90 minutes, 75 minutes and 60 minutes.

Poster Session Abstract Submission
The Poster Sessions presents a great opportunity to share visual displays of activities with WIC staff from across the country. All WIC local, state and tribal staff are encouraged to participate.


Posters can showcase innovative projects, programs and ideas in Nutrition Education, Breastfeeding, Healthcare, Partnerships or Collaborations, Staff Development, Dietary Assessments, Literacy Initiatives, Recruitment and Retention.
