Hi Steve, It is a very good idea. I would note that SEP added (after a significant discussion) an article on fallacies. I have found them quite selective in picking topics (they need to be convinced of a significant connection to philosophy). I will bring up this idea with the editors when I chat with them (probably next month). Cheers, Leo. As I think about good next steps, it occurs to me that an entry on Critical Thinking at the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__plato.stanford.edu_index.html&d=CwMF-g&c=mRWFL96tuqj9V0Jjj4h40ddo0XsmttALwKjAEOCyUjY&r=KTO-67piPlkvVwpkegE90CPhOOUVOHyNkd2ycJxraVlOjFMzr4s8w_Q89bvfLZgJ&m=pIIUu6j0D8otMGhUL8N80x6yW6spvxjOHNjb-YSKW3I&s=jBRW5qIPtVW80vACcDjpqhTBU0W2lC0E7nKLczEs5Jw&e=> (SEP) would be a wonderful thing to have. At present there's nothing there, though there is mention of critical thinking in a couple of entries, most notably the entries on Informal Logic<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__plato.stanford.edu_entries_logic-2Dinformal_&d=CwMF-g&c=mRWFL96tuqj9V0Jjj4h40ddo0XsmttALwKjAEOCyUjY&r=KTO-67piPlkvVwpkegE90CPhOOUVOHyNkd2ycJxraVlOjFMzr4s8w_Q89bvfLZgJ&m=pIIUu6j0D8otMGhUL8N80x6yW6spvxjOHNjb-YSKW3I&s=E9ZySDln4YLmRiotegAxOuNjwRf7AshSh0nKk73S3m0&e=> and on Philosophy for Children<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__plato.stanford.edu_entries_children_&d=CwMF-g&c=mRWFL96tuqj9V0Jjj4h40ddo0XsmttALwKjAEOCyUjY&r=KTO-67piPlkvVwpkegE90CPhOOUVOHyNkd2ycJxraVlOjFMzr4s8w_Q89bvfLZgJ&m=pIIUu6j0D8otMGhUL8N80x6yW6spvxjOHNjb-YSKW3I&s=pSXk-Vy2Mcj6qRMU7tiZLNDZcSOt-G16NaXaKLQnOC4&e=>. The SEP is another widely used and respected, online resource in philosophy. A thorough, well-written page on CT there could do a lot for the field's visibility within philosophy and further bolster the argument for Critical Thinking as an AOS/AOC. Another plus is that a link from the SEP page to the AILACT page could eventually be added too, thus helping to promote our merry band of adventurers. It would also be a place, eventually, to reference the "Supertext" that Scriven, Johnson & Blair are working on, once it's complete. Just a thought.
