Maintains ongoing communication with Dining Services Director to keep informed of current food service operations and concerns.

Our Nutrition Services team is looking for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). The RDN provides nutrition education and counseling to clients with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses, their families and care-providers based on individual needs assessments. The RDN assesses nutritional status of and develops comprehensive nutrition care plan for clients. He/she also plans appropriate dietary modifications and restrictions for clients to relieve specific nutrition-related symptoms associated with HIV/AIDS and other serious illnesses, prescription drugs and food intake requirements and restrictions. He/she follows up with appropriate nutrition education materials and maintains client information in God's Love database.

The RDN provides outreach to hard-to-reach and under-served communities through nutrition and cooking workshops, lectures, and education materials by performing the following duties. He/she also monitors and reports on compliance with agency-wide protocols for food safety and sanitation in accordance with New York City Department of Health guidelines and agency standards.
