Black American men have the highest prostate cancer morbidity and mortality rates of all racial and ethnic groups in the U.S. Colorectal cancer, one of the few cancers that is preventable through the use of screening, continues to show widening disparities when comparing White and Black Americans. Prostate and colorectal cancers are urgent issues in the Black community.
