Position Title:  Volunteer student researcher

Principle Investigator: Dr. Christopher E. Mason, PhD

Position Description:  Students will use the internet to find and compile information on microorganisms into a central database. Students will learn how to conduct independent research, and those who fulfill their contribution will be acknowledged on the final, published paper. 

Time Commitment:  4-5 hours/week for 16 weeks (work independently from home after attending a training session)

Start Date: November 2016

Qualifications:

- An interest in medicine, public health, or biology 

- Highly motivated, professional, and independent students

- Available to attend a training session at Weill Cornell Medicine
