Medical Writer with some IT skills (Lenox Hill/Midtown East)

New York City based ophthalmologist’s office is seeking a full time or part time on Medical Writer for immediate hire. Duties include writing blogs, scientific articles as well as working with patient interface software. Basic computer skills (hardware and software) skills a must. 

Job Responsibilities:

Social Media: Blogs, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook management

Experience grant writing not a requirement a plus

Perform routine software testing, configuration, and installation 

Experience with basic hardware connectivity a plus.

Job Requirements:

Must be an organized person

Writing skills

Willing to learn software

Mac OSX: Mac-based office

Basic computer hardware connectivity

Basic knowledge of network and its protocols

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required

Conscientious self-starter able to take initiative and a strong team player

Ability to work flexible hours a plus

Experience with writing and posting blogs also a plus
