New Program Sites Announced for the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP)

Do you have summer plans yet? It may seem too early to begin thinking about next summer, but it's never too early to start exploring available opportunities to
gain valuable experience and exposure to the medical field. One opportunity to consider is the Summer Health Professions Education Program (SHPEP). Applications are now being accepted for 13 program sites around the country, and will provide you with the opportunity
to explore what medical school is like and obtain exposure to several different health professions.

Inspiring Story Highlight: Luis E. Seija

Luis took the MCAT exam five times and applied to medical school twice. He wants you to know there is no recipe for a perfect applicant, and encourages students
to avoid comparing themselves to their peers. Luis is currently a student at Texas A&M College of Medicine.
