Dear Nutrition/Dietetics Professor:

Do you have nutrition students looking for a paid summer work experience?  Can you think of an aspiring future dietitian that would jump at the chance to spend 10 weeks working at a summer camp in Texas working under the guidance of a 30+ year Registered Dietitian?  If so, please pass this information along to your students!

Please see the attachment titled, “Camp Nutrition Therapy Specialist Posting 2017 Final,” to learn about the position requirements and how to apply for the position.  The document titled, “Camp Nutrition Therapy Specialist Job Description Duties Revised” will provide some detail of the day to day responsibilities of the position.  And the “GFC NTS Exit Memo” is a document written by last year’s camp’s Nutrition Therapy Specialist and provides some insight on what this position was like for him and how it prepared him for his Supervised Practice Internship.  The deadline to apply for this position is 3/30/17.
