Specifically, you will develop skills in:

• Evaluating scholarly articles in an active manner.
• Understanding the general blueprint and structure of scholarly articles.
• Breaking down scientific articles in to smaller, “bite-sized” pieces.
• Finding the main points in scholarly research articles.
• Taking notes to develop greater appreciation and understanding of the information in scholarly articles.
• Gaining confidence to avoid fears associated with detailed scientific jargon and terminology.
• Forming your own opinions about a scholarly article, in relation to the targeted field of study.
