Advanced Practiced Program Program (AP3)


ATTENTION FEMALE HUNTER COLLEGE STUDENTS
The goal of this program is to introduce students to the day-to-day work of advanced practice providers in healthcare, specifically: Registered Nurses (RN), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA) and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (cRNA).
This is program is offered to women undergraduates and post-baccalaureate students at Hunter College.

ALL FEMALE HUNTER COLLEGE STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

Each student in the program will:

·        Shadow advanced practice healthcare providers.

·        Participate in weekly educational lecture sessions.

·        Receive a stipend and weekly MetroCards.
Program Dates:
Summer 2018: Monday, 6/4/18 – Friday, 6/29/18 (Monday – Friday, full-time, 4 weeks)
                                                           - OR -
Winter 2019: Monday, 1/7/19 – Friday, 1/25/19 (Monday – Friday, full-time, 3 weeks)

Location:
Memorial Sloan Kettering, 1275 York Avenue (between 67th and 68th streets)

Eligibility:
The program is open to undergraduate and post-baccalaureate women who are students at Hunter College.  Freshmen and under-represented diverse students are encouraged to apply.

Application Deadline: Monday, January 8, 2018, at 5:00pm (EST).
