Program Description

Program Dates: May 27 - August 3, 2018 (Ten Week Program)

The University of Massachusetts Medical School (UMMS) Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity is a non-credit, ten-week, structured research experience sponsored by UMMS Office of Outreach Programs. The program consists of "hands-on" laboratory research with an UMMS investigator serving as a mentor, role model and advisor.

The Summer Undergraduate Research Opportunity is funded by the National Institutes of Health National Heart Lung and Blood Institute and UMMS Office of Research.

Application must be completed by March 11, 2018 to be reviewed by our selection committee.
