This Research Assistant position is ideal for new graduates looking to enrich their research experience before entering Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. programs. The laboratory of Dr. Laura Donlin maintains a strong focus on translational research, using patient samples to identify pathologic features of autoimmune conditions and to diagnose musculoskeletal infections using cutting-edge genome-wide sequencing technologies. 

The candidate should have an excellent academic record in subjects related to the Biological sciences, Chemistry or Engineering, as well as significant laboratory experience. This full-time position will begin in the summer of 2018 with a two-year commitment highly preferred. The Research Assistant will develop an independent project using innovative transcriptomic and genomic technologies to extend our work in the fields of human autoimmunity and clinical metagenomics.
