California School of Podiatric Medicine Summer Immersion Program

Advisors—the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University is now accepting applications for our Summer Podiatric Medicine Immersion Program. This three-day workshop provides participants with an opportunity to explore the profession of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery. Students who attend the program will:

· Gain invaluable learning experience and an opportunity to explore the profession of podiatry

· Interact with faculty and students in a variety of settings

· Participate in a MCAT workshop, gaining tips and strategies for peak performance

· Learn about and understand the increased need for podiatric physicians

· Experience a hands-on clinical day learning how to cast and suture, sports taping and much more!

Space is limited to just 25 students and there is an application process. Additionally, we will cover the cost of travel to the San Francisco Bay Area for participants outside the local region.
