The 14th annual meeting of the American Physician Scientists Association will be held at the Fairmont Millennium Park Hotel in Chicago on April 20-22! We encourage undergraduates and post-bacs to attend the annual meeting and, to assist, we have travel awards and registration waivers!

American Physician Scientists Association (APSA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing resources for aspiring physician scientists, from the undergraduate level and on into professional life.

This year’s annual meeting will provide undergraduates with a unique opportunity to network with burgeoning physician scientists and other highly motivated students. Students will be able to participate in a wide variety of group sessions and meet our outstanding lineup this year, featuring world-renowned speakers such as Richard P. Lifton, MD, PhD, President of The Rockefeller University, and Eric Topol, MD, Director, Scripps Translational Science Institute. Undergraduate students will have ample opportunity to ask questions about the application process over the course of the weekend, and are encouraged to apply to be matched with a MD/DO-PhD student mentor for the duration of the conference.

This year’s undergraduate-specific session on Sunday April 22,“The Dos and Don'ts of MSTP Admissions”, will feature combined program directors and advisors: Andrea Amalfitano, DO, PhD, Dianna Milewicz, MD, PhD, and Paul Utz, MD.
