Community Partners is accepting applications for its full-time staff position of Program Manager. The Community Partners Program Manager
manages the pro bono consulting program of the Harvard Business School Club of New York, comprised of 200+ Harvard Business School alumni volunteers annually. Responsibilities include coordinating and implementing email and web marketing efforts to recruit
alumni for nonprofit projects; providing procedural direction and logistical support to 20+ volunteer project coordinators across four interest group committees; working closely with the program co-chairs, board and committees to grow Community Partners’ nonprofit
client base; and serving as program liaison with Harvard Business School to provide Club scholarships for nonprofit executives to attend social enterprise programs.
Tasks
- Management of information flow across committees as alums volunteer and nonprofits apply for projects
- Provide support to board and committees
- Meeting coordination and other logistical support
- Graphic design for approximately 50 project announcements annually
- Webmaster (design and maintenance)
- Editor and graphic designer for Annual Report
- Database administrator for tracking of volunteers, clients, and scholarship winners
- Event organizer (semi-annual and annual events)
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Experience
2-3 years of professional experience with demonstrated effectiveness at managing teams and long-term projects; implementing and coordinating
processes and procedures; and high-level competence at executing web and graphic design projects.
Skills
- Self-starter with superior organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Efficient yet detail oriented
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Facility with web and graphic design platforms (WordPress.com or equivalent website design/maintenance platform)
