Thanks for your reading suggestion Peter.  But to return to the subject at
hand--translation

There is an active if still small CT movement in China that has a
newsletter and annual conferences, significantly influenced by David
Hitchcock who gave the keynote at the founding conference. I had the honor
of giving a keynote at the 7th Confidence on CT last year along with Frans
van Eemeren, and Tim Van Gelder,

Yu Dong, a former graduate student of David's, is quite involved and might
be willing to help with translation.  Sharon and my textbook *Reason in the
Balance* has been translated into Mandarin as has my short text on
scientific reasoning *Is that a fact *so there is clearly considerable
interest in CT in China and connecting those involved with ALIACT seems
like an excellent idea.
