 Job Title : Pediatric Research Study Assistant
 Job Description:
 As an integral member of the coordinating center for a consortium and in compliance with all regulatory, institutional, and departmental requirements, perform data collection and data entry and participate in data analysis for protocol/non-protocol studies within Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).  The Research Study Assistant works to ensure data quality and integrity during each phase of the cycle.
 A Bachelor's Degree is preferred for a candidate with no prior experience or a high school diploma with experience at MSKCC is required.  Medical terminology, an interest in science, and prior data entry and analysis experience are helpful.  This position requires the incumbent to complete tasks of moderate to standard difficulty under limited supervision and/or to assist more senior research staff in working on more difficult assignments.  In addition, the qualified candidate will need the following:

*         Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

*         Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  *   Ability to organize and take initiative when indicated.
  *   Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast-paced work environment.
  *   Ability to identify issues proactively and follow through to completion.
  *   Ability to effectively interact with a variety of individuals including internal and external staff
  *   Proficient in the required computer skills including the ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and ability to attain knowledge of other programs as needed.
 Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday)
