Attached is a Volunteer Request Form describing the Health Educator position. What they've been working on at PSS is developing a Health and Wellness curriculum that focuses on identified needs of the seniors at their senior centers. As part of the curriculum, there will be a Hypertension/High Blood Pressure support group, Diabetes support group, Weight Management support group, and so forth. They are looking for people to lead these support groups and this would be a great opportunity for students in pursuit of the Nutrition and Health Education field. They will learn how to facilitate group discussions,  follow lesson plans, as well as learn other skills.
