Focusing on cervical cancer and other preventable cancers in the United States, U.S. Pacific and Caribbean Island jurisdictions and Latin America, this fellowship will provide opportunities to participate in a variety of activities related to domestic and international cervical cancer prevention and control. New strategies, such as the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination and low-tech cervical cancer screening methods, have great potential to reduce the burden of cervical cancer worldwide.
Qualifications:

  *   A Master's degree in a science, public health, or related field received within the last five years.
  *   Spanish language proficiency (preferred), or proficiency in another language besides English is desired.
  *   Experience in public health communications, public health policies, and in analyzing descriptive, and potentially, more complex epidemiologic data is beneficial.
  *   Strong analytic skills with knowledge of SAS or SPSS are desired.
  *   Experience working with cancer-related issues is preferred, but not required.
