A key provision of the federal Affordable Care Act (ACA) of 2010 requires
the creation of a Health Benefit Exchange in each state.   In 2011, the
Vermont legislature passed Act 48 - a law that created the Vermont Health
Benefit Exchange within the Department of Vermont Health Access.  Vermont
Health Connect is the State’s Health Benefit Exchange. It will be a
marketplace where individuals, families and small businesses in Vermont can
compare health plans and select one that fits their needs and budget.****

*Vermont’s Health Benefit Exchange is hiring!*  Many of our open positions
may be of great interest to your alumni.  Below is a link to our State
