The seminar will be held in our East Harlem Building, at 2180 3rd Ave at 119th St (Rm 115A).

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Christine Sheffer, PhD is an Associate Medical Professor in the Department of Community Health

and Social Medicine at the City College of New York and the Executive Director of the Counsel for Tobacco Treatment Training Programs.

She is a clinical psychologist and a researcher and educator in the field of tobacco use and dependence, addiction, and decision-making.

Her research has been funded by the National Cancer Institute, the National Institute for Minority Health Disparities, and the National Institute of Drug Abuse.

Her recent work has focused on addressing socioeconomic and other tobacco-related disparities.
