I am reaching out to you in regards to prospective candidates who are interested in working with underserved populations. Services for the UnderServed has been awarded a BIP grant in order to expand our Urban Farms initiative. SUS works with people with an array of special needs in residential and group home settings and our goal is to open doors to independence. The Urban Farms program is designed to provide our individuals with the opportunity to learn about food, horticulture, and the environment, and to train them for career opportunities in the landscaping, agriculture, and food service industries. This grant will offer temporary full time employment through December 31, 2015. We are currently looking for:

1 Project Manager (10 month contract)
1 Employment Coordinator
3 Educators and Apprenticeship Managers (Agriculture, Food Service, Landscaping) (8 month contract)
5 Job Coaches (8 month contract)
2 Interns for Summer 2015 (BA/BS undergraduate internship is paid with minimum 15 hour work week requirement.)


All positions are for the Brooklyn area.
