About the speaker - Dr. Judith Gilbride, Ph.D, RD, CDN, FADA
Chair and Professor of Dietetics program in the nutrition department at NYU, Dr. Gilbride also serves as editor for the peer reviewed Topics in Clinical Nutrition (TICH). She holds a Ph.D in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics. Her research interests include: clinical nutritional management, nutritional assessment, nutrition in gerontology in community-based settings, among others.

Dr. Gilbride was a featured author for the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics workforce demand study for 2011: Projections and opportunities for an increasing demand for dietetics practitioners. This study outlines the current trends in health care and nutrition, and their projections and recommendations for the coming decade.

Light refreshments will be served.
