Making Waves: FREE Advocacy Training Workshop

Make Your Voice Heard! Enhance your advocacy skills to make a difference and learn how to shape a powerful and personal story that will move policymakers.

On behalf of the Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation’s Advocacy & Alliance Development team, you are invited for a free hands-on advocacy training, networking luncheon, and impactful day of discussion and learning. We are hosting our Health Policy Advocacy Training Workshop on Monday, October 26, 2015 from 9am – 2pm.

Advocacy is one of the most powerful tools that a nonprofit has to convey its voice and the voice of its constituents. Today, there are approximately 1.5 million registered 501(c)3 organizations in the US. With limited budgets, many nonprofits do not have staff dedicated to advocacy and budget available for ongoing training and resource development is limited.

  * Learn how you can gain skills and strategies to advocate effectively for your organization and the people you serve.

  * Gain a new perspective on the role that patient advocates can play in the policy arena.

  * Hear how science-based innovation is used to deliver better outcomes for patients.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
