Must work every other weekend with days off during the week.

Job Description:
The dietitian in the Food & Nutrition department is responsible for determining and providing for the clinical nutrition needs of patients, including screening, interviewing, assessment of nutritional status, as well as providing instructions on food and drug interactions and medical nutrition therapy. Participates in interdisciplinary rounds and meetings and interacts with medical and nursing staff as needed to implement the nutrition care process in a timely manner. Maintains liaison with community organization relating to nutrition education programs. Adheres to hospital and department policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college, with a major in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition in a program approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics; and
2. Registration as a Registered Dietitian by the AND
