Dear NYCNEN Members and Friends,

Please join us for our first exciting NYCNEN meeting of the year, "Social Media 101: Using Technology to Communicate Nutrition Messages Effectively"

The goal of this meeting is to familiarize NYCNEN members with a variety of different social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, Vimeo, Blip, and more), show examples of how social media has been used effectively by nutrition educators to promote their messages, and provide a step-by-step template that NYCNEN members can use to develop their own social media campaigns. This session is designed for those who want to be familiar with the basic terminology, as well as those already using social media that want to learn how to use it more strategically in their work.
