WIC PROGRAM NUTRITIONIST/ SPECIAL PROJECTS MANAGER

The William F. Ryan Community Health Center seeks a highly motivated individual to work as a WIC Program Nutritionist as Special Projects Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

Job duties include working with the Ryan Center WIC Program prenatal population,  providing nutrition assessment during pregnancy, assisting women in setting weight gain goals during pregnancy, providing participant-centered nutrition counseling for  families, facilitating informal discussion groups and healthy cooking demonstrations for program participants, communicating with health care providers as needed, and working closely with the breastfeeding team to promote breastfeeding.  Responsibilities include WIC staff oversight and quality improvement / performance improvement analysis.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition required.
RDN and CDN Required.
Some management experience required
Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
