Participants will learn to:



1.         Summarize the results of the study: Recipe modification improves food safety practices during cooking of poultry.



2.         Describe the food safety challenges faced when consumers follow existing instructions in recipes.



3.         Articulate how recipes can be used as educational tools for food safety information.



4.         Examine how the addition of food safety instructions can improve consumer behaviors during food preparation.



5.         Redesign recipes to include food safety instructions that are specific enough to lead to appropriate actions.
