We'll be hearing from Rinzin Wangmo, who will provide an overview on the crumbling health policy and economic, political and environmental destruction in Tibet and her perceptions of growing up as a Tibetan refugee in India. Presenter Bio: Rinzin Wangmo was born in rural Tibet. Given the political and economic repression in Tibet, her late mother brought her and her brother to India for a better future in 1996. She completed her free schooling at the Tibetan Children's Village School in Himachal Pradesh in India. Subsequently, she earned a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the Oxford Dental College in Bangalore and is now a CUNY SPH international graduate student in health policy and management.
