Fundraiser at COLORS restaurant October 5th, 6:30-9 pm.

Tickets are available to students at $15, which includes networking during an hour of open bar and appetizers followed by a panel entitled Race and Place in Food and Co-op Movements, featuring Curt Ellis, Karen Washington, Tanya Fields and Kolu Zigbi - all powerful players in NYC's food scene!

The fundraiser is at COLORS worker-owned restaurant (417 Lafayette St) and benefits the Cooperative Food Empowerment Directive<http://cofed.coop>, a non profit dedicated to improving the food landscape on college campuses through the support of student teams developing sustainable food enterprises.

The money raised will be used to develop further trainings in sustainable food systems, cooperative business development and social justice / anti-oppression; it will also create scholarships for students who need financial assistance to participate!
