Health Educator, Employee Wellness Program, Atlantic Health System (Full Time):  Candidate will have the ability to promote and improve the health and wellness of employees by effectively implementing workplace wellness initiatives. The candidate must be able to identify needs, design and implement educational materials and health promotion programs, and monitor and evaluate progress. Candidate will act as a resource to promote wellness in the organization, and must possess the coaching skills necessary to assist employees with lifestyle changes in both a one on one and group setting. Candidate will demonstrate and embrace the PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity and Excellence) in every aspect of their job, and must be able to develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.



Education:

Master's degree in Health Education, Nutrition, Community Health, Public Health, or related field required. RD, RN or CHES status. A minimum of 5 years experience in health and wellness or workplace wellness field required.



Certifications and Skills: Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist (CTTS) preferred. Health/Wellness coaching certification or experience preferred. MCHES preferred. Strong nutrition background strongly preferred.

Experience working with clients on behavior change strongly preferred, and workplace wellness experience a plus. Candidate must have excellent communication, writing, presentation, and computer skills.
