Below is a link to an NY Times article about the Food and Drug Administration's proposed measures that would all but eliminate artificial trans fats.

I think it would be great to share with the Public Health students and especially RD's following food policies.

Also, here is another link to the FDA's website where folks can submit comments during the FDA's 60-day Comment Period on Measure to Further Reduce Trans Fat in Processed Foods.<http://www.fda.gov/Food/NewsEvents/ConstituentUpdates/ucm373925.htm> This would be a great way for students to get involved in this tremendous change happening right now!
