Nutrition Education Summer Intern, New York City Department for the Aging

The New York City Department for the Aging is seeking an undergraduate or graduate student for its Nutrition Education Program. Intern shall be available one to two days per week. This is an unpaid fieldwork position. This internship will give students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in creating and presenting nutrition education workshops to older adults at NYC senior centers.



Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Dietetics, Food or Nutrition, required.

Minimum of three (3) years experience as a staff clinical dietitian, required.

Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience, preferred.

We’ve helped over 500 clients throughout the years and are in the process of expanding to other locations in the Mt. Sinai system.
