Brooklyn Gluten-Free Meetup<http://www.meetup.com/GF-Brooklyn/>: Events and info about GF options in Brooklyn.

The New York City Celiac Disease Meetup<http://www.meetup.com/Celiac/>: A great resource for general GF info (see discussion board<http://www.meetup.com/Celiac/messages/boards/>) and events all over NYC. Hunter nutrition alumna Carolyn Turek belongs to both groups and in fact runs the Brooklyn group, and she heartily recommends both as excellent resources for people who need to eat a gluten-free diet.
