Dear Colleagues,



Hope this message finds you well.



This is to share the news that we are hiring – Please help us spread the word with your doctoral candidates, recent graduates and other networks. We are looking to hire a Biostatistician/Epidemiologist for a tenure-track faculty position:



Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in biostatistics, research design, and epidemiology as well as other expertise areas to both health and nutrition students; assisting with the development of new courses; developing and maintaining a funded research agenda; consulting with faculty on statistical design and applications; student advisement and research mentoring.



Successful candidates must possess:

- A doctorate in biostatistics, epidemiology, public health, or a closely related field (e.g., sociology, psychology, anthropology, or urban studies with a health focus)

- Teaching experience and a passion for teaching with evidence of  cultural competency

- A demonstrated record of productive scholarship

- An ability to both lead and cooperate with others for the good of the department and institution

- An ability to work successfully with students and faculty in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural environment



It is also desired that candidates have:

- Expertise in one or more of the following areas: public health; health policy, administration and management; nutrition; aging; program evaluation; maternal, child, reproductive, and sexual health

- Undergraduate and graduate teaching experience

- A successful grant portfolio and peer-reviewed publications
