...we were trying to arrange a time for nutrition professionals to meet with Dan Kittredge Executive Director of the Bionutrient Food Association. The meeting was arranged for Tuesday, Dec. 15,, 2015 at
the Westchester Land Trust in Bedford Hills, NY. The Westchester Chapter of the Bionutrient Food Association meets monthly at this location.
The Bionutrient Food Association members are primarily farmers/food growers, and gardeners, however members are diverse and now also include some nutrition professionals.
Dan Kittredge will come down from Massachusetts to speak in Bedford Hills and introduce nutrition professionals to his work/work of the Bionutrient Food Association.
The meeting will take place at the Westchester Land Trust in Bedford Hills. on Tuesday, December 15, 2015. Meet and greet @ 4:45 pm. Presentation/discussion starts promptly at 5 pm.
Dan will begin his talk focusing on the nutrition audience. He will explain the Bionutrient Food Association, and about growing food with soil improvement measures, with need for more/less nutrient inputs, yielding improved outputs, including flavor, aroma, nutrition and quantity of food produced.
At 6 pm nutrition professionals are welcome, to stay, and participate in pot luck and continue discussion on other farm/growing issues, as part of the monthly Westchester Chapter of the Bionutrient Food
Association, which is coordinated by farmer, Doug DeCandia of The Food Bank of Westchester.
