Position: Fulltime Registered Dietitian for private nutrition counseling practice in Manhattan
F-Factor Nutrition is a nationally known private nutrition counseling practice in midtown Manhattan specializing in weight loss and medical nutrition therapy.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing nutrition therapy and nutrition counseling to meet patient goals using the F-Factor method
- Performing nutrition screening, evaluation, and assessment for patients
- Charting and keeping records to monitor patient progress
- Marketing, promoting, and raising awareness about F-Factor through communication at events, and interface with health professionals, key influencers, and other opportunities
- Developing client base - through effective networking
- Maintaining credentials and continuing education through the Academy
Qualifications
- RD credentialing and active status through the Academy and an accredited college or university degree
- State licensure (CDN)
- Significant experience and training in hospital or outpatient nutrition care; minimum of 4 years
Education
- Baccalaureate degree in food and nutrition, dietetics, nutritional sciences, or human nutrition
- Completion of an accredited dietetic internship

- Knowledge of menu planning and conversion of nutrient recommendations into food and menus
- Counseling and educational training for individuals and group work settings
- Effective in relationships with other health care professionals (when sharing patients)
- Strong written, verbal, and communication skills

- Enthusiasm for applying F-Factor's proprietary nutritional methodology
